QUALITY ASSURANCE PRINCIPLES
Main principle

The Association uses the term translation QUALITY to refer to a high standard of translation and service judged by impartial professional criteria, aimed at ensuring client satisfaction. Turning out a high-quality end product requires that the translation company and the client agree on the exact assignment to be carried out and on its terms (such as price and delivery time) before the assignment is accepted and that the agreement is observed in a spirit of cooperation and mutual understanding.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. GENERAL

These general terms and conditions will be applied to commissions made between a translating or interpreting company (hereinafter company) and customer concerning translation and interpreting services and associated incidental and additional services (hereinafter translation services); the commissions may be supplemented by the parties as needed. In this document, the term company means a member company of Sktol ry. These terms and conditions will enter into force on May 6, 2003, and will remain in force until further notice.
